Description
40 mm Round RLV-TB with Thermobaric Grenade NSN: 1310-50-001-2381
The RLV-TB round is intended for combined destruction, both by air-blast and thermal emission:
- of the enemy manpower and equipment located mainly in different types of shelters and covered areas, caves and in the open, as well as
- of light armored and unarmored vehicles.
Upon impacting a target, the fuze AF41 gets activated and initiates the bursting charge which, in its turn, disperses the thermobaric composition TBC-2. The thermobaric composition TBC-2 interacts with the oxygen from the air; an air-fuel composition is generated which detonates from the bursting charge. A zone characterized with overpressure and intense heat is created in the area.
This ammunition is compatible with:
- ARSENAL UBGL, UBGL-1, GP-25, GP-30 and GP-34 Underbarrel Grenade launchers mounted on ARSENAL Assault Rifles AR-M1, AR-M1F, AR-M7F, AR-M9, AR-M9F, etc.; and on AK-74, AKS-74, AKM, AKMS, AK 101, AK 103;
- AVALANCHE Grenade Launcher – revolver type.
