40×46 mm Arsenal Stand-alone Grenade Launcher SAGL NSN: 1010-50-001-5108

The 40X46 mm ARSENAL Stand-alone Grenade Launcher SAGL is a single shot, powerful close support weapon, intended for use against single or groups of targets of enemy’s manpower in an open area, in trenches and light shelters of field type, as well as reverse slopes at distances up to 400 m.  It is also good against light or unarmored vehicles, breaching secured doors, signaling or marking target areas with smoke, and destroying enemies positioned in defilade. 

Main Features:

• stand-alone launcher;
• Stand alone option makes transferring or handing off weapon to others as needed extremely easy
• telescopic folding stock;
  • When firing, the stock should be always in extended (combat) position;
• chamber loading (breach loading from rear of tube);
• ammunition – low velocity type M 406 grenades caliber 40×46 mm with length up to 160 mm;
• A Rail MIL-STD 1913 (Picatinny) is integrated on every Launcher (at the 12 o’clock position) for attachment of additional accessories;
• The trigger mechanism is of firing pin type and has a safety that blocks the movement of the trigger;
• Cocking of the firing pin is performed upon barrel closing.
